Finally!!!! People are getting haircuts again!!!!! For far too long have I heard 'just a trim'. It's brilliant. Kaley Cuoco, Jennifer Lawrence, Michelle Williams, Ann Hathaway, Jodie Hough, Emma Watson, and Charlize Theron just to name a few..... have all been seen sporting short hair.
It is an instant statement. It says I am confident. I don't really give a f%ck what you think about it. It's super sexy.
About three years ago I shaved my head for St. Baldrick's Foundation (an absolutely wonderful cause supporting research fighting childhood cancer). I remember balling my eyes out.

You don't realize the attachment you have to your hair until right before it's hitting the ground. And the reality was, I had a choice. Millions of women don't. I remember being terrified that this curtain I used to hide myself would be gone, and I would be completely exposed. I had all the same fears that every woman has. My face isn't pretty enough. I will look fatter. But guess what, I rocked that shit!!!!!! I was beautiful, I even looked skinnier. And for the next two years of sporting short hair, I never have been complimented more. This line was my favorite....."You look beautiful with your short hair, I could never pull it off." If I don't think you could pull it off, trust me, I will tell you. But the reality is........ It's confidence that pulls this short hair pixie look off. And there is nothing sexier than a confident woman.
When considering this length of hair, it is important to go to someone who understands face shapes and hair textures. A simple rule of thumb is, you do not want hair resting at the widest part of your face. It will only draw that out. Instead you want hair to sit right above, or right below the widest part.
