Hi I’m @styled.by.M. with 10+ years experience in the hair industry. During this time I’ve explored all different avenues of the hair industry. This helped me fall in love and lead to specializing in Cut and Color. I’m also a part of the education team here at refleKTion Salon. I’m always learning new techniques to customize your look. My hairstylist journey began with me cutting my own bangs during my childhood and took off when I graduated with my Associates in Cosmetology. As I continue to grow and evolve as an artist a few things have stayed consistent. The vintage fashions that inspire today's ever changing trends are a great source of inspiration. Additionally, the vivid colors, the shapes, and the vast diversity of nature will never fail to also inspire and amaze me.

My passion for this industry grew in my teen years!

At the age of 16, I began to work in a small family-owned salon in my hometown of Aurora. I met a wonderful couple who introduced me to what now is my life! I’ve dedicated almost 10 years to the beautiful art of hair and makeup! For most of my career I’ve specialized in formal styling and makeup! I have been privileged to meet some amazing inspiring women in my life/career who have taught me a lot of what I know today. I’ve dipped my fingers in color and cutting as the years passed by, but never really thought about working behind a chair! That’s until I came across refleKTion salon!

Having such a supportive team and boss makes pushing yourself out of your comfort zone that much easier! So here I am today, 10 years later continuing my education and growing the services I can now offer to you.

For as long as I can remember , I wanted to go to beauty school. The first time I got my hair done as a 13 year old I couldn't believe the excitement and happiness I felt every single day waking up with "cool" hair. Experimenting with my hair has been a never ending journey ever since. The feeling NEVER gets old. I went to Cosmetology school right out of high school and have been doing hair for 8 years now. Outside of hair I have a passion for protecting our mother earth and making art! I've honestly never spent much time in a salon before working at one, but that never stopped me from experimenting with hair, especially my own at home. I have tried almost every shade of pink and all the colors of the rainbow at some point and time. This journey has brought me to refleKTion and I honestly couldn't be happier working in such a friendly and welcoming environment.

I love experimenting with my hair, trying fun crazy colors and cuts. You just might see a different version of me every time you see me. I also love to read with a cup of tea, do my own nails, play D&D, hike in national parks, going to concerts, spend time with my family and friends, and cuddle my cat even though he would prefer to sleep undisturbed.

Hey there, I’m Jarylle - the friendly face behind the scenes of our fabulous salons. I live for the buzz of the salon floor and am the one ensuring things run like clockwork. Since I could start experimenting with my own hair, I’ve loved the confidence that beautiful hair brings and I love seeing our guests walking out feeling just as confident as I do. Even though I don’t do hair, I’m passionate about creating a rejuvenating experience for our guests and helping to bring their beauty from the inside out.

In my free time, I love trying new vegan recipes, crocheting, and pilates. When you spot me in the salon, don’t expect the same hair color every time - I love to change it up between natural colors and vivids!
