Our products are free from harmful sulfates, parabens, and sodium chloride. Our hair color options include low ammonia, no ammonia, PPD free and plant based. You spend a great deal of your life around chemicals, and we strive to eliminate harsh chemicals whenever possible. We are a Green Circle Certified salon and we recycle 98% of all waste streams. In addition to our products being safer, we also ensure they are sourcing their ingredients in a sustainable way.
We allow our stylists to operate with the scheduling freedom of a salon suite while still enjoying the benefits of being part of a team, allowing for work life balance. refleKTion SAFE + SUSTAINABLE salon, Chicago is looking for a part-time client coordinator to works nights and weekends who is fashion forward, positive, motivated, organized, and detail-oriented. This is the PERFECT job for someone looking to grow with our company and contribute to a flexible, fun, fashionable environment that focuses on growth and team work.
This is a part-time position (~35 hours/week) that requires evening and weekend hours.
This person will provide excellent service to guests who come to our salon as well as provide guidance and assistance with retail products. This person takes pride in his/her own appearance and well-being and believes learning never ends. Excellent customer service and a courteous and professional attitude is a must. Previous salon/spa experience IS REQUIRED.
Job duties include:
Ensuring guests, especially new ones, are comfortable - giving salon tours, providing beverages, updating them on stylist timing
Own the sales closing sales process: help stylists sell retail and pre-book visits
Answering phones and providing email support to client inquiries
Tracking and resolving guest challenges, utilizing support from the Salon Manager when necessary
Opening and/or closing duties.
Taking ownership of appearance and function of the salon
Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in salon or spa.
Excellent client service, communication and organization skills.
Ability to manage time effectively
Ability to perform basic computer skills
Self-motivated and ready to go above and beyond.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
Team player.
Some lifting and stocking will be required.

We are looking for a current cosmetology student or recent graduate who is looking to take the next step in their profressional career. This role has the opportunity for growth with a cosmetology license.
We are looking for assistants who are wanting to grow into stylists, and people who want a steady job with a set schedule.
Salon assistants provide excellent service to guests who come in to our salon as well as provide guidance and assistance with retail products and services.
We are looking for someone who is self-aware, takes pride in his/her own well-being, and believes learning never ends.

Job Duties
Arrive punctually and bring a positive and up-beat attitude to work daily
Provide excellent customer service from beginning to end of service
Greet guests, provide salon tours, provide general customer service
Maintain salon cleanliness: sweep, laundry, dishes
Make cross-service and product recommendations
Assist in shampooing and blow-drying guests hair
Minimum Requirements
Experience: Retail or serving experience, current IL cosmetology license (or test date set).
Excellent client service, communication and organization skills.
Ability to perform basic computer skills
Self-motivated and ready to go above and beyond.
Flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
Team player and goal-oriented positive attitude.
