Diego has been with us since the beginning of our adventure in Chicago, the very very beginning. just like we inherited those gorgeous vintage mirrors in Chicago so too we inherited Diego - and let me tell you - he was the best item in the whole deal! Diego is a compassionate, passionate, consummate professional. he truly cares about his clients and puts his heart and soul into his art. when we first met him he was a cutting expert - eager to expand his horizons, a trait he exudes today. he quickly and expertly mastered our clean color line, O&M, and became a leader in salon education and conservation efforts. he can re-purpose or re-finish virtually any item he comes across (from broken blow-dryer cords to old lamps) and he takes our healthy living cause to the next level even making us the most atrociously smelling but healthful natural cold remedies around. we've watched Diego add skills like not one but TWO extension certifications (Platinum Seamless AND HotHeads), win the prestigious Cosmetologists Chicago President's Scholarship and attend multiple continuing education courses including the Redken Exchange Cutting & Styling Masters Course.

I am an energetic and genuine artist. I have a passionate drive to create customized complete looks individualized for each and every client. Having over 5 years of experience in advanced training and education specializing in color, cutting, styling, and extensions. I strive to educate myself on the latest hair and beauty trends. I love seeing an affirming smile on my client's face when they see their recreated look. It lets me know that they feel beautiful and confident about themselves. I also take the time to listen to each and everyone of my client's expectations. After exchanging ideas I than create a style that is best suitable for their personality and lifestyle. My ultimate goal is to maintain a great, healthy, and beautiful head of hair for every client. I truly believe the only way to deliver this look is by using only safe and sustainable products by Original & Mineral. I feel there is no great haircut without amazing color.
