For as long as I can remember , I wanted to go to beauty school. The first time I got my hair done as a 13 year old I couldn't believe the excitement and happiness I felt every single day waking up with "cool" hair. Experimenting with my hair has been a never ending journey ever since. The feeling NEVER gets old. I went to Cosmetology school right out of high school and have been doing hair for 8 years now. Outside of hair I have a passion for protecting our mother earth and making art! I have always wanted a career where I could make people feel their best and be creative, so I thought the beauty industry was the perfect fit. I have been working in salons for over 4 years, while moving around to different states and exploring new cities. I’ve worked at salons in Wisconsin, Indiana, Arizona and now Chicago. I specialize in lived in colors, so my clients can maintain their look longer in between appointments. I also love doing shags, pixies, and razor cuts. My passion for this industry grew in my teen years!
At the age of 16, I began to work in a small family-owned salon in my hometown of Aurora. I met a wonderful couple who introduced me to what now is my life! I’ve dedicated almost 10 years to the beautiful art of hair and makeup! For most of my career I’ve specialized in formal styling and makeup! I have been privileged to meet some amazing inspiring women in my life/career who have taught me a lot of what I know today. I’ve dipped my fingers in color and cutting as the years passed by, but never really thought about working behind a chair! That’s until I came across refleKTion salon!
