What do you do at Reflektion?

I am a hairstylist that specializes in lived-in color, blonding, blowouts and cutting.

How long have you been doing this?

5 years

What’s your approach to beauty?

Hairstylists are all artists in this craft. All the lovely clients of Reflektion are our canvases that we have the honor of refreshing and renewing during our salon services. Through our rituals we accentuate the true beauty you have within.

What are you into outside the salon?

When shears and a blow dryer aren’t in my hand you can find me around the neighborhood exploring our wonderful city! . I enjoy making pottery at my art studio, traveling, camping, and doing yoga . I am a foodie and love trying new cuisine around Chicago. I pet sit and nanny in my free time, I love animals and babies!

Fun facts?

Signature drink: Honey Lavender Matcha (Carlos at Ludlow makes the best matcha!) Also, I am ambidextrous.

Love the ambiance here. Clean & modern but still kind of artsy which I love. They use great products that I trust in like K18 & Amika. My hair always feels so soft & healthy after a service here. I get my cut and color with Nico & she is amazing! Great conversationalist that makes the appointment fly by. Great salon & stylist :)

If you're not coming here for Nico, you should be. She is the only stylist I have let cut my hair in ten years, because every time I would go to the salon before, my hair would get hacked off, or dyed grey (happened more than once) or I'd be given unrealistic expectations with tragic results (was told I could go from red to platinum in one sitting- broke my hair from waist to shoulder). Nico is easy to talk to, open to suggestion, and she'll tell you the truth about what will look good and what's achievable. She gives an amazing blowout as well, and you'll feel like you're hanging out with a super knowledgeable friend.
