What do you do at Reflektion?

At Reflektion, I co-design looks for women to bring out their best selves. Utilizing my skills in custom coloring, precision cutting, and extensions, I empower women to look as beautiful on the outside as they feel on the inside.

How long have you been doing this?

Licensed since 2016.

What’s your approach to beauty?

I grew up in the glitz and glam of cheer and dance, but I love creating soft looks that bring out the best in others. I do my research on what I put in and on my body so the cleaner and more natural, the better.

What are you into outside the salon?

When I’m not behind the chair, you can catch me working on my fitness, diving into a good read, or spending time with my loved ones.

Fun facts?

I have a cat named Poppy.

Micaela’s Work

This was my first time coming to refleKTion and meeting Micaela. The whole experience was amazing. From her welcoming and kind personality to her transparency on what I could expect with my hair and pricing to keeping me informed on where we were in our process. She was ah-ma-ZING!!!! I’ve struggled to find where I fit in the plethora of salons and stylists in Naperville and I’m glad to say I’ve found someone I am excited to go back too!

Micaela is vibrant, confident and put me at ease. I was slightly anxious, in general to do "something new" but fitting. She heard me and understand exactly what I wanted, provided me tips & walked me through what she was going to do, in my consultation the day before. Prior to my first visit I had a horrible cut and color at a different salon, and for the past 7 months Micaela has been working with me and my hair to gradually fix it and get it to where I want it to be, and let me tell you I’ve never been happier with my hair and the overall quality of the entire experience: the transparency, realistic conversations about what my hair can and cannot do, teaching me how to use the right product without being pushy about buying products, the ways they take care of and encourage eco-friendliness, I could go on forever. I’m getting SO many compliments on my hair and I am finally feeling confident with it again! I cannot recommend Reflektion or Micaela enough!
